Kenny Dash My interest in performing comedy for an audience began with Richard Dixon's White House Comedy Club in N. Massapequa, L.I. 1978, where I appeared off and on for a year auditioning for a straight audience.

My next opportunity happened just after my 20th birthday at the first gay bar I ever went to: Equus in Seaford, L.I. in 1978 when I had to fill in for a drunk Tiny Tim, who couldn't make it to the stage, I was asked to go up and entertain the audience resulting in a job booking all the acts there weekly. After that I continued to perform in various bars/nightclubs/restaurants throughout Long Island, NYC, NJ, and CT for the next 30 years.

Over the years I've performed at Frecklebellies in North Merrick, Cheeks in Island Park, the Silver Lining in Floral Park, Starz in Deer Park, Grand Central in Rockville Center, Chameleon's in Island Park, the Playground in Huntington, Thunders in Smithtown, the Bunkhouse in Sayville, Bourbon Street in Williston Park, Chunky's in Mineola, Spectrum in Brooklyn, in S.I., the Bayclub, Visions and the Sandcastle, Hatfields in Kew Gardens Queens, Breadstix in Forest Hills Queens, Starz in White Plains, the Brook Cafe in Wesport Ct, the Colosseum in N.J., Triangles Cafe in Danbury, Ct, the Psychic Cafe, East of Eight Restaurant, O.W. Bar, the Web, Chi Chis Bar, Boots and Saddles Bar, Cafe Society, the Producers Club, Tracks, Nuts and Bolts, the Universal Grill, the Boysroom, the Ice Palace, F.I., Cherry's, F.I., Stonewall Inn, Lips Restaurant and Splash Bar, just to name a few.

I describe myself as a comic female impersonator m.c. show hostess. I have also been a booking agent for male dancers for many of the tri state ares bars since 1983. i have performed at the famous Traxx Nightclub, Uncle Charlie's, New York New York Nightclub, Studio 54 and the Red Parrot Nightclubs in NYC 1983. I gave Frank Marino, who performs as Joan Rivers at the Riviera Hotel in Las Vegas, his start at Frecklebellies in 1984. While mc'ing the La Cage Revues at the Supper Club and the Producers Clubs in 1990-1994, I appeared on the Geraldo Show. I have appeared as an extra in the movie Too Wong Foo in 1994, and in Rescuing Desire in 1994. I was a featured speaker at the retirement roast for famed Splash night club owner Brian Landeche at the Rainbow Room in Rockefeller Center in 2006.

All throughout the 1980's-1990's I performed for various A.I.D.S fundraisers. I even ran a strip-o-gram agency in the Yellow Pages from 1985-1988. I have hosted the Halloween Contest at Splash for the last 16 years. I have been performing at Splash Bar, NYC, every week since 1992 with my stud search contest. I am the Sunday Brunch show hostess at Lips restaurant every week since 1999. I host my Bingo Night at Stonewall Inn from 1997-present.

During the summer for the past nine years since 1999 I have been performing at Cherry's Bar in Cherry Grove, F.I., hosting a weekly bingo/trivia/comedy night called Bingo-Rama. I call myself the Bingo Bitch. I host Bingo at Cherry's Bar in Cherry Grove, F. I. every Wednesday night from the end of June through the middle of September. There are a lot of prizes, o 69 shots, with my classic collection of pop hits from the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's. Over the years I've won many awards, most recently I won an award at the 2007 Golden Grove Awards. I was the recipient of the Best Bingo Host in Fire Island for 2007. I look forward to continuing to perform for many years to come.
