GingerSnap My name is GingerSnap and I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter (hahaha!) of 3. I always went to private school - how ironic, don't you think? I always remember going to church and while the other boys were praying for bb guns and the girls were praying for little ponies, I was praying for someday to become a star.

Throughout high school I managed to be in all the school plays from Stepping Out to Lost in Yonkers, where I played my first drag role as the neurotic sick aunt. I always knew I loved making people laugh.

Now let's get up to date, you must be bored. I have been working at Lips restaurant located a 2 Bank Street in the West Village. I host Manic Mondays and Wednesday Bitchy Bingo with the foundress Yvonne Lame. I have been there for nine years now and the best thing about working there is that we're one big dysfunctional family. It's kind of like the Cherry's family.

Well, the Summer of 2007 I arrived in Fire Island scared and nervous, and I left with no liver. I'm a girl who loves her liquor. I met so many nice people on the island and I met others I just wanted to kill. Everyone seemed to embrace me with open arms. I had my Monday, it was a lot of work but I had a great time. I also won an award at the Golden Grove Awards for Best Newcomer of the Year. I look at that plastic trophy everyday and smile and remember all the fun I had that summer.

This summer my show's moved to Tuesday nights with even a better show... I have to give Jacque and Donna a huge thanks. You two women are the sweetest girls, and you guys treated me much more than a employee - you treated me like family and I love you for that. Well, can't wait to see everyone in the Summer of 2008.
